Did you know that you can help do your part to ignite change with something as simple as lemonade?
Vivienne Harr did. 😊 She’s a young girl from California who saw a photograph of two enslaved young boys in Nepal and immediately wanted to help by raising money to free 500 children from slavery. Her goal might sound unattainable for one little girl, but she committed to running a lemonade stand every single day for a whole year to raise as much as she could. After just 173 days, she had raised over 100 thousand dollars! and she kept going strong. 💪
Now there’s an incredibly inspiring movie with Vivienne’s story & steps you can take to do your part too :) Please check out standwithmemovie.com to watch the trailer (but don’t forget the tissues! I cried at her beautiful humanitarianism)
To celebrate, there will be an instameet with Vivienne herself TOMORROW (National Freedom Day) in San Francisco at 3pm. Will you join and #standwithme? I hope so! Together we can help spread this message and make the world a better place.
