I could rant for hours about the good/bad/artistic/aesthetic merits of Instagram. Instead I’m going to talk about one reason I LOVE INSTAGRAM.
Friends!
I love that I’ve made friends with some really amazing photographers, and we all know each other almost exclusively through photos of our days.
Which brings me to my point! yay.
Monday I posted the top left photo to Instagram, proclaiming love for my Hasselblad. Within the day, three of my friends followed suit with their favorite cameras & tennis shoes.
Say what you want about iPhone photos, but any social network that can inspire spontaneous creative collaboration (for fun) between friends like that is A-okay in my book.
